CONSTRUCTION & dEMOLITION (C&D) Facility for RM Penny Plant Hire

Turmec are about to start work to install a C&D sorting plant for RM Penny Plant Hire and Demolition in Wells in Somerset. The plant will be capable of treating 20 tph of C&D waste to remove valuable recyclates such as wood, hardcore, soils and metal. Tom Brimble from RM Penny says “This plant will mark a new chapter in the growth of the company enabling RM Penny to process more material in a more cost effective way and divert more waste from landfill.” Trevor Smart from Turmec says “We are delighted to be building this plant for RM Penny, it has been a hard fought battle with our competitors. Price point has always been challenging, especially for the smaller plants like Tom’s but we have worked hard with him to optimise every detail of this plant to keep costs within budget whilst still maintaining the quality and robustness of Turmec equipment. The key to the plant  is a double deck screen from IFE which gives the plant the adaptability to process a wide range of materials and also enough capacity for RM Pennys’ business to grow into. ” Installation starts in November 2020
